Across the Pond …..12 First of all I would like to thank all the bulldoggers in the USA that made me extremely welcome during my April visit to New Jersey, I surprised Kevin Davies ,Mystyle and his Dad Norman ,Ocobo as there I was sat by the ringside when they came to judge the show !!
BACK HOME from USA ............... Despite
having many desperate enquiries for puppies we have decided not to breed again
until the new year, we always keep something and wouldn’t be breeding except to
keep one for the ring ,we want a summer free to attend the shows, which are
coming up fast and furious , mostly outdoor shows there will be one almost
every weekend until September. We have Genie and Posy to show and Minnie is now
6 months on the 12th so we are taking her to a few as well ,we
just returned from2 weeks in France only saw one bulldog there
The Uk Show Scene……. Besides our Open Shows we have puppy competitions here that are great social occasions ,The British Bulldog Club are running a Gold Medal Puppy of The Year competition ,The Yorkshire Bulldog Club ,Northumberland and Durham,the Northern Bulldog club have ones planned which we will be attending to bring you good photo coverage ,and The Birmingham and Midland Counties Bulldog Club are holding a members afternoon which is going to show old movies of the dogs from the 60’s 70’s 80’s to let us see the old dogs from our pedigrees .These events will be well attended ,details of these and the up and coming shows can be found on the Breed Council site www.bulldogbreedcouncil.co.uk In September our Bulldog Rescue and Rehoming will be holding their 7th Annual Picnic, this is a true bulldog lovers event last year over a 100 dogs and 300 people attended ,worth a visit if you are on vacation in the Sussex area . ****************************************************** The UK Championship shows results are as follows , On the 12th April the Sheffield Bulldog club held their show judged by Mr Victor Van Ramsdonk from Belgium, RESULTS were
